Jan Jaap van der Wal - 'Amor Fati - 10 years in Flanders'

That too is fate, and that too I embrace with pleasure.” Jan Jaap van der Wal is now 10 years a “Fleming in training” and has become an indispensable part of Flemish theaters and on television. The love is mutual, and to celebrate that, Jan Jaap is bringing his biggest show to date to Flanders. “Because whether we go under due to a possible war, or due to a budget deficit, or we choke on a shrimp croquette at the seaside; go under we will, and let's do it with a big smile.” Jan Jaap van der Wal has been a comedian for almost thirty years and has made four full-evening shows in Flanders since 2015, including the highly acclaimed election conference “Geen Stem”. On television, he made a splash as a jury member of De Slimste Mens ter Wereld and as a presenter of De Ideale Wereld and Jan Jaap Op Zondag.
