De Spiegel - Battoe (1-4 years)

We all travel. To a faraway place, another house, a new classroom – or just every morning, when we step into the day. Sometimes we set off with great enthusiasm, sometimes with a knot in our stomach. Battoe starts from that recognizable feeling: being on the road in a world that is constantly changing. In this children's performance without words (but full of imagination!), the artists from music theater De Spiegel step onto a wooden raft full of hidden sounds. They sail across a sea of emotions; past joy, doubt, homesickness, and fun, ever further from home and yet closer to themselves. Battoe invites young children to travel along with their imagination. What does it mean to leave? And what is coming home? In this warm, playful, and poetic performance, everyone is given the space to look for answers themselves. ,
