On February 4, 2027, it will be exactly 50 years since the legendary break-up album ‘Rumours’ by Fleetwood Mac saw the light of day. This masterpiece is one of the best-selling albums of all time and is full of pearls like ‘Go your own way’, ‘Don’t Stop’ and ‘Dreams’ - all songs etched into our collective memory.
Ten years ago, ‘Rumours, 40 years – a Fleetwood Mac Tribute’ toured concert halls in Flanders and the Netherlands. It became a whirlwind tour with sold-out halls and raving enthusiastic concert-goers. Afterwards, initiator Sara Gilis (Das Pop) deliberately pressed the pause button. This project was by no means to become a routine tribute band.
But the desire is greater than ever to exuberantly celebrate the 50th anniversary of ‘Rumours’.
On board Sara’s musical dream team are still Neeka, Marco Cirone (De Bonanzas), Rob Vanspauwen (Along Comes Mary), David Broeders (Neeka) and the rhythm section of The Sore Losers, Kevin Maenen and Alessio Di Turi. After ten years of waiting, these passionate musicians are eager to take you back to 1977 again. Experience an evening full of timeless classics that bring generations together and continue to inspire artists to this day. This will be the birthday party of the year - don't miss it!
