Tristero, Please don't laugh

What should we do with humor today? In PLEASE DON’T LAUGH, theater company Tristero goes in search of an answer. Three comedians try to get a grip on a world that sometimes seems difficult to understand. Along the way, they collide with the limits of what humor can do. And then there is the banana: the symbol of the classic joke. The three actors peel layer by layer from the primal symbol of humor and what turns out? The funniest piece of fruit has more in it than the eye would suspect. Thus, the banana becomes a metaphor for larger things like capitalism, powerlessness, and art for Tristero.
