Attention: this activity is already fully booked Repeated due to success! You mainly come to In de Koninklijke Musea for Schone Kunsten van Belgi when there is a temporary exhibition. Yet the permanent collection is also incredibly impressive and worth a visit. In the past, this was a museum where mainly art from the 15th to the 18th century could be admired, but since this year, that collection has been expanded up to and including the 21st century. As a result, you can now enjoy masterpieces by Rogier Van der Weyden, Pieter Bruegel, Peter Paul Rubens, Rembrandt van Rijn, Rachel Ruysch, Gustav Wappers, Ossip Zadkine, Evelyne Axell, Sol LeWitt, David Altmejd, … But what makes a work a masterpiece? A challenging question that we will look for an answer to together with you. During this guided tour, we will look at the museum's masterpieces, a walk through 6 centuries of art history, during which we will get to know these beautiful works with an eye for detail.
