Classical at the Abbey: Donax Trio

Only you alone Après le Quatuor Naka in December and the Ensemble Explorations in February, the Trio Donax also comes to highlight the lasting popularity and influence of the Viennese classics. In a refreshing staging, Luc Loubry on bassoon, oboist Bram Nolf and Hans Ryckelynck on piano present the music of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven in a sequence that highlights their cohesion and evolution. In a few notes, we will hear how classical finesse evolves towards deep drama and the beginnings of Romanticism.
