500 Miles

At dawn, young English brothers Finn (Roman Griffin Davis, Jojo Rabbit) and Charlie (Dexter Sol Ansell) run away from home. Now that their parents' divorce is final, they also fear being separated from each other. Their destination is exactly 500 miles away: the rugged Irish west coast, where their beloved and eccentric grandfather John (Bill Nighy, Living, About Time) lives, whom they haven't been allowed to see for a while now. Along the way, they must rely on their charm, resourcefulness, and the kindness of strangers. Vooral Kait (Maisie Williams, Game of Thrones), a free-spirited street musician who is on the run herself, becomes an unexpected traveling companion. Morgan Matthews turns their journey into a warm and adventurous road movie about two brothers who want to stay together at all costs. Beneath the adventure lies a moving story about family and the special bond between grandparents and grandchildren.
