MJO invites KCA

Lennert Baerts is a composition teacher at the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Antwerpen. He came up with the idea to set up a collaboration between MJO and the Antwerp Conservatory (KCA). During the collaboration, the composition students follow an interactive trajectory of workshops, rehearsals, and feedback moments with MJO. The compositions are thereby improved, refined, and made playable or performance-ready. The result of this year can be heard at this final concert in the context of 'MJO invites' on June 7 in the ballroom of MUZE. This concert is also offered for free, but as always, we will go around with Jazzy the Jazzpig to continue funding our operations.
