Ontdek het Molenpad: Een Reis Door de Tijd Langs de Stiemerbeek Walk along the Molenpad (Mill Path) and let yourself be carried away by the rich history of Genk! This approximately 2-kilometer-long trip takes you along the banks of the Stiemerbeek, where historical mills adorned the landscape for centuries.   From the old Slagmolen (Slag Mill), which once ground grain and pressed oil, to the places where fulling mills processed cloth and bark mills tanned leather, discover the fascinating stories of this water-rich area.   Enjoy not only the cultural history but also the beautiful nature of De Maten.
