De Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij and the municipality of Oostkamp cordially invite you to the official opening of the new helophyte and iron sand filter at the Ringbeek in Oostkamp. This innovative, nature-based water purification system contributes to better water quality and a healthier living environment. With the help of reed and marsh plants, the water is purified in a sustainable way. This action is co-financed by the Interreg Vlaanderen Nederland project Aquatuur.
Everyone is most welcome. You will receive more explanation about the operation of the reed bed and the iron sand filter, and furthermore, you will discover how nature and water management can go hand in hand for a climate-robust water system.

Preferably come by bike or on foot. Parking options in the area are very limited.
