Film: Sentimental Value

Joachim Trier Sentimental Value tells the story of two sisters, Nora and Agnes, who are reunited with their estranged father, Gustav, once a famous film director. He offers Nora a role in his comeback film, but when she refuses, she discovers that her role was given to a young Hollywood star. The central theme in the film is dealing with old family wounds, missed years, and guilt.
