Exhibition - David DORVAL and Thibault MOES

Paysages de Wallonie Quelques words from the artist: Introducing oneself is never the easiest thing... so I'll keep it simple. My name is David Rigo, I am a photographer and I am also the person behind the Les Balades de David page. For several years, I have been traveling through Wallonia with my hiking boots, my camera, and, let's be honest, sometimes a bit too much equipment on my back. My passion for photography was born just like that, quite simply, through my walks, my discoveries, and encounters. For my first exhibition, I couldn't choose any other theme than "Paysages de Wallonie". It's a subject that looks like me and represents everything I love to share. You will discover forests, rivers, valleys, mist, beautiful lights, but also much simpler places. Those small corners that we sometimes pass without stopping and which can yet become magnificent when we take the time to look at them. I don't claim to show the whole of Wallonia through this exhibition. I simply present the one I discover along my walks, with my own gaze: a Wallonia that is beautiful, natural, sometimes wild, and often surprising. This exhibition is a major first for me. For the first time, my photographs are leaving social networks and screens to be presented to the public. It is inevitably a bit impressive, but above all, it's a very nice step. And if my photos give a few people the desire to go out, walk, and look differently at the landscapes surrounding us, then this first exhibition will have already achieved its goal.
