Martin Verbeeck, global citizen from the Kempen

Martin Verbeeck, as the 'cement king', left clear traces on the beautiful estate Zwart Goor in the form of about a dozen cement-rustic ornaments. During the guided walk on the estate, the focus is on the person Martin Verbeeck, who lived here and who created the open-air showroom of cement-rustic art near his pinetum. As a global citizen, he managed cement and stone factories. He was also an innovator (in this field as well) in agriculture and horticulture. This beautiful estate is now the living environment of the Klavier institution, which provides care for adults with disabilities.
