Mushroom walk in Bertembos

Autumn is the ideal season to discover mushrooms. In the forest, numerous species then appear in all kinds of shapes, colors, and sizes. During this guided walk by Natuurpunt Herent, we head into the Bertembos in search of these special inhabitants of the forest. Under the guidance of a guide, you will learn to recognize different mushrooms and learn more about their role in nature. Why do some species grow on wood and others in the soil?
