Raps is a musician. And a tinkerer. He hammers out songs. And builds melodies. Every time he plays a new tune, the sun, the moon, and the stars rise. But never before has a little boy emerged from his songs... More than 15 years after his debut, Maarten Van Aerschot is making a performance for toddlers again. Together with, among others, Robbe Mols and Evelyne Meersschaut, he is building a thorough craft work with puppets and an ingenious set. Muzikant Toon Van Mierlo kicks off with his extensive instrumentarium what you get to see and hear. ‘Rapsodie’ is a visually rich performance about how you can play a whole world together, even when it is raining outside.
