A surprising mix of circus and theater for curious builders aged 5 and older.
Meet Wout, the acrobat who goes on a journey of discovery with extreme caution and maximum concentration. The key question: 'What can he do with the familiar, simple toy: KAPLA®?
With a mix of creativity and daring, he moves towers, tests his balance, and takes on a shot put ball. As setbacks pile up, his perseverance is put to the test more and more. Steadfastly, he continues to build a world of wooden blocks, in search of the perfect balance. But where does the line between ambition and absurdity lie? How high can we build before everything collapses? When is enough really enough?
‘Chasing Splinters’ is a fascinating family performance full of challenge, humor, music, and a touch of nostalgia. A unique combination of circus and theater, in which playing with KAPLA® blocks not only explores the physical limits of the constructions but also playfully exposes the absurdity of our existence. Let yourself be taken into a world full of tension and precision!
