40 in 2025! Meanwhile, active for 40 years non-stop and grown into one of the standard-bearers of the Belgian punk scene. Funeral Dress celebrates that in 2025 with its long-awaited new studio album. Sixteen years after ‘Global Warning’ they are finally back with a new (and probably last) full album that was given the appropriate name ‘Goodbye?’. As a precursor to this, they already released the single ‘Ik mut just niks’, a nod to the famous statement by cyclist and fellow regional Wout Van Aert. To put their new songs and the 40th anniversary in the spotlight, Funeral Dress is touring extensively in 2025. A sold-out release show in Trix on February 14th already kicked off the anniversary year with a bang. After more than a thousand performances worldwide, there is still no wear and tear. Funeral Dress remains a guarantee for a load of energetic punk as punk should sound: sharp, straightforward, and without compromises!
