Seven pulcinellas (figure from the commedia dell'arte in the role of comic servant), the first without arms, the second without eyes, the third without legs, the fourth without voice, the fifth without nose, the sixth without ears, and the seventh without heart. The pulcinellas work together on a construction. Their diverse limitations are constantly in the way, causing everything to stall. Until the pulcinella without a heart decides to climb to that elusive ideal and goes into the heights without blinking. PIEDESTAL explores the tension between ambition and acceptance and is a search for balance between limitation versus infinite possibilities.
