This program offers a carefully compiled anthology from the baroque, brought by countertenor Pieter and lutenist Thomas. They present well-known and lesser-known pearls that are close to their hearts. The repertoire is rich and diverse: from the melancholic splendor of Dowland and Purcell to the vocal virtuosity of indestructible arias by Händel and Vivaldi. You will also discover lesser-known, but equally impressive pieces by masters such as Porpora, Gasparini and Guédron. Some works are tailor-made for them, others they adapt in a creative and original way for the intimate setting of lute/theorbo and singing voice. The result is a sequence of vocal and instrumental splendor from all over 17th-century Europe. Aperitif after the concert
