Family Concert: The Firebird (7+)

A playful and unexpected family concert (7+) that colors outside the lines: Brussels Philharmonic and the young conductor Oscar Jockel pull out all the stops during this Art Day for Children. ----- What happens when you put on your bold shoes and go on a voyage of discovery with a large orchestra, a curious conductor, and the music of Igor Stravinsky? Prepare yourself for a delightful treasure hunt through the Firebird, with a quite eclectic and fairly unexpected selection from the musical cookie jar. The whole thing is interspersed with fast scribbles, flashing neon colors, and soft pastel chalk - and exciting assignments. The music pushes the imagination (and the chaos?) further into the heights, and before you know it, you are singing, dancing, whistling, and roaring along with the orchestra.
