Orphan - László Nemes

Een Joodse boy grows up in the Budapest of 1957, in the shadow of the Hungarian Revolution, together with his stoic mother Klára. He was raised by her with the ideal image of his father Hirsch, and for eleven years he has been waiting for a man he barely knew; his life is turned upside down by the arrival of a rough man from the countryside. He seems to be linked to Klára's mysterious past during the Tweede Wereldoorlog and claims to be his father.
