Broers Horst and Franz see each other again after a long time. Horst stays in a residential care center and suffers from Alzheimer's, Franz urgently needs money and hopes for the inheritance of his older brother. Ook Andrea, the great childhood love of Horst, suddenly appears on the scene, determined to make up for her lost time with Horst. This unleashes old passions, and a rivalry between the two brothers that goes all the way back to a long-forgotten 'Sunday the ninth'.
''An honest film about a vulnerable subject, with two wonderful roles for Josse De Pauw and Peter Van den Begin.'' (Nieuwsblad)
