Opening Sentier 54 - Westouter-Reningelst

OPENING FOOTPATH/SENTIER 54 WESTOUTER-RENINGELST After almost 30(!) years, it has been achieved! The slow walking connection from Westouter to Reningelst is open again. At 1:30 PM, the official ribbon will be cut on the 'Reningelst side', in De Kinderbrouwerij.  From 2:30 PM, you can start the walk. Gemeente Heuvelland and the city of Poperinge have mapped out 3 walks for you. You can obtain these at the starting points, on both sides. There is a choice between 5.4 - 7.5 - 11 kilometers. You can start the walks on either side, and you will definitely pass the information stand on the other side as well. On the 'Westouter side', the municipality of Heuvelland and Natuurpunt Heuvelland are setting up an information stand. Both information stands will remain open until 5:00 PM.
