Tramhaus is a five-piece live-wire from Rotterdam that plays shows as if everything could explode at the same time. The band moves freely between post-hardcore, shoegaze and punk, fueled by the diverse musical backgrounds of the members, but on stage one thing always arises: pure cohesion in the chaos. Since their start in 2020, Tramhaus has steadily built a reputation as one of the most intense live bands in the region. From small DIY halls to large festivals, they drag their audience along in a constant stream of energy, tension and discharge. No distance, no decor, but a direct connection from first to last note. Their first releases, including the 7” single and the ‘Rotterdam’ EP with the track ‘Make it Happen’, quickly brought them to the attention of the Dutch underground. With their debut album ‘The First Exit’ (2024), the band broke through more broadly, with rave reviews, international airplay and a sold-out release show in Paradiso. That momentum translated into an intense tour schedule: in 2024, Tramhaus played 125 shows in 22 countries, from Europe to Asia and the US. The band always moves via an organic network of independent promoters and venues, which brought them to unexpected places from Moldova to Kosovo. Meanwhile, they performed at festivals such as Best Kept Secret, Lowlands, Primavera Sound, Dour and SXSW, and played in iconic clubs such as VERA in Groningen, where their sold-out show was voted best of the year. In 2024, they were also curators of our own Sonic City, an edition that did not go unnoticed and that has continued to resonate for a long time. With the second album ‘Blister’, which will be released on October 9, 2026, Tramhaus continues that line. The first single ‘Plovdiv’ will be released on June 3 and already gives a first insight into a record that sounds even more direct, rawer and more layered, but keeps the same core: a band that only really bursts open completely live. Tickets on sale 5/06 from 12 PM.
