Summer in Retie: Picnic with Kastaar

On the repertoire of Kastaar is Flemish folk music, sung in a typical Kempen dialect with a humorous undertone and with winks to beer, women, everyday and not-so-everyday situations. Irish melodies are regularly used, provided with self-written lyrics. The audience is actively involved during performances and everyone is allowed to sing along… PICNIC ON SUNDAY Doors open at 11:00 AM – performance starts at 12:00 PM. Folding chairs are provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own chair and/or blanket to make yourself completely comfortable. And don't forget your picnic. On every picnic Sunday, there is children's entertainment for the youngest visitors.
