Anyone who thinks that nature stops at the city ring has not yet looked at the Hasselt city center with different eyes. Between the paving stones, in the shadow of historical facades, and on old walls hides a surprisingly resilient wilderness. During this walk, we go in search of the sprinters of the plant world: sidewalk plants and wall plants that bravely resist concrete and asphalt. Let yourself be surprised by the botanical treasures that grow right under our feet and join this safari on the asphalt. We also leave a trail of botanical sidewalk chalk drawings for the accidental passersby. Guide: Jens De Groot
