Black dog

In *Black Dog*, we see how economic developments reach the fringes of the Gobi Desert and also influence daily life there. Lang, a taciturn man, returns to his hometown, located on the edge of the Gobi Desert, after serving his sentence. He goes to work for the local dog patrol, tasked with chasing stray dogs out of the city before the start of the 2008 Olympic Games. Lang is fascinated by one of the dogs they have to capture. He feels an unlikely bond with this impressive black dog. As Lang is caught up by his past, he forms an exceptional friendship with Xin.
