The Word Recycling Shop

De Woordrecyclagerie is an artistic, participatory pop-up project. For two weeks you can leave a difficult word — a word that makes you scared, angry or sad — at the Recycling Park: online at www.dewoordrecyclagerie.com or with us in the library, from September 14 to 27. After that the park closes and the recycling team gets to work after two weeks full of collected words. \n\nThree weeks later the words return in a poetic-musical performance full of atmosphere, music and emotion. On October 15, Stien Michiels and Renke Van Impe bring the collected words back to life. What first felt heavy is reworked into beauty — into a moment that touches and connects.
