Petite Frappe tells the bumpy journey of a teenager struggling to exist. Following a major piece of mischief, Rudy is sentenced to keep company with Selma, a grumpy grandmother. The young boy will discover the singular world of the old anarchist, her cat Underwood, and her passion for anonymous letters. These two wild beings will learn to tame each other, with claws and tenderness, embodying all those who think they are cast aside from the written and spoken word, who have trouble seeing themselves as a story worth sharing… From the text to the plot, passing through the scenography, Petite Frappe speaks about the relationship to language, to the letter, to paper, and reveals how learning words and emotions can save us from the inability to consider ourselves worthy of the verb.
