Zussen Nora and Agnes are reunited with their absent father Gustav, once a renowned film director. He offers Nora, a theater actress, a role in the film that is supposed to be his big comeback. When Wanneer Nora rejects the role, she discovers that he has given her part to the young Hollywoodster Rachel Kemp. The two sisters must face their difficult relationship with their father, and deal with an American star who has landed in the middle of their complex family relationships.
