In Snow Leopard four people go on an expedition to the Himalayas in Tibet, in search of the mythical snow leopard. They brave extreme conditions and are confronted with themselves and their mutual differences. While they wait, the question grows: what are we actually looking for? Why should we stare blindly at a shy snow leopard in a remote area, while the world here is on fire? In this philosophical, light-hearted, and danceable performance, fiction and personal stories mix. The makers investigate what their own ‘snow leopard’ is: desire for meaning, peace, beauty, or adventure. And is that search an escape, or just a way to look at the world differently?
