The Sister of Jesus Christ [Theatre]

A village in southern Italy. Maria grabs the 9 mm Smith & Wesson pistol from the kitchen sideboard. She leaves the house, weapon in hand. She goes to Angelo le Couillon, the young man who assaulted her the day before.\n\nThe village follows her, eventually forming a colorful procession. Everyone shares their anecdote about the young girl, taking turns revealing every aspect of her life. There are those who encourage her, those who want to dissuade her, but nothing and no one will stop her.\n\nIn this fable, Félix Vannoorenberghe brilliantly plays all the characters to tell the story of Maria's revolt and the collective awakening of a whole village.
