Britt & Broos perform 'Four Seasons In One Day'

Voormalig Laïs-singer Annelies Brosens began her music career as a classical singer but followed her heart and chose folk music. For 25 years, she was part of the folk trio Laïs. For a few years now, she has been performing under the stage name Broos . Sopraan Britt Truyts explores the boundaries of different genres. She is classically trained, worked with, among others, HERMESensemble, is co-founder of the KAOS ensemble, and sang and acted in Looking for Habibi van Het Toneelhuis. Together they form the vocal duo Britt & Broos . The concert swings between Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, music by Benjamin Britten, and intimate songs by singer-songwriters like Ane Brun, Joni Mitchell, and Nick Drake. Classical, folk, and contemporary music alternate. The concert is co-supported by pianist Stefaan Blondelle , who brings the music to life together with Britt & Broos.
