The performance of master storyteller Marc de Bel is suddenly interrupted by a musician who has mistaken the room. Het Toeval wants the man to be a former student of Marc. He finds the chance encounter quite pleasant and suggests spicing up the performance a bit with his songs and fantastic air-machine. Marc doesn’t think that’s super at first, but soon the student knows how to convince his former teacher and, as often happens, surpasses the master. Marc de Bel and the Air-machine is a swinging, funny, musical, but also moving nostalgic, interactive storytelling performance for everyone between 7 and 107, who, just like Blinker and Nelle, dreamed/dreams of butterflies in the stomach, exciting adventures, building treehouses, swimming in the castle pond, and more of that fun stuff. That the pedagogical genes still run in (school)master Marc’s blood is evident from the underlying messages of the performance. Anyone who has listened well will understand that bullying is wrong, that one must become who and what one is, and will guaranteed also want a tattoo on their butt… For everyone aged 7 and up.
