The Brabant Killers, the musical

Clara is a young journalist trying to get a grip on the elusive file of the Bende van Nijvel. She wanders through stories, memories, and interpretations that have been part of the (public) debate for forty years. This performance brings together fiction and historical context, starting from the many questions, leads, and stories that have colored the public debate for years, without confirming or debunking them. We are not presenting a reconstruction, but an artistic interpretation of a country that is still struggling with its own past. So that this would never be forgotten. This performance is inspired by the historical events surrounding the Bende van Nijvel, but uses fictional characters, dialogues, and interpretations. Where names of real people appear, it is purely to clarify the historical context, not to suggest guilt or involvement.
