Theater maker and actor Bavo Buys (they/them) takes you into the universe of Narcissus, their own alter ego that enters the battle with time. Wild Narcissus is a hypnotic solo in which myth, pop culture (think: Sasha Fierce, Ziggy Stardust…) and personal stories merge with documentary, theatrical imagination, and social media. The result is a gripping portrait of desire and self-preservation, of empty applause, manipulation, and fragile perfection. A critical but also enthusiastically-wondering look at our narcissistic society and the dark sides of human nature.
