Love is a Thing with Feathers MAVIS.  Five free birds. Five feathered voices that merge and thus take the audience with them in their flight. Love is a thing with feathers is a performance that pays tribute to nature, love, and music. A varied a cappella program takes the listener on a flight through vocal music history. Clear Renaissance music goes into dialogue with close harmony and romantic pop music. Huiscomponist Hans Helsen (re)arranged the music where necessary to fit the songbirds, so that all styles and genres merge seamlessly. The result is a unique, extremely colorful, and vibrant program that is accessible to both seasoned and curious listeners of all ages.
