Teyrrasfolk: Bellowing Bellows (Baleynbal)

Thu, 6 Aug 2026 · 19:30
Muziekclub 't Ey, Sint-Niklaas
Free
Teyrrasfolk 2026 is a free music festival with six evenings full of pure dance pleasure. Each evening starts with a dance initiation for everyone who wants to loosen up their legs. Folk dancing might seem difficult, but nothing is less true. Thanks to the social character (you rarely dance alone) a nice evening is guaranteed. The programmed music groups belong to the top of their genre. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On the 3rd evening of our festival we are back in our own Music Club in Belsele after two splashing balls on the Sint-Nicolaasplein in Sint-Niklaas. Come and enjoy, we have a large terrace in the courtyard of our music club. Start your evening with a tasty meal: our outdoor kitchen opens at 6 PM. Honest and fresh, but be quick, because gone is gone! Two accordions, one vibrant ball: Bellowing Bellows lets bellows sing, collide and merge in a swirling dialogue that immediately sets the dance floor in motion. Bellowing Bellows is the duo of Lolita Pariaud and Jonathan De Neck, two accordionists who create a lively dialogue between their instruments with their own compositions. Their music moves between whispering passages and powerful outbursts and invites you to move, laugh and dance together. An energetic ball in which connection through dance is central. Lolita Pariaud grew up in a musical family and began her training as a pianist, before focusing entirely on the diatonic accordion. She followed internships with, among others, Didier Laloy, Bruno Le Tron and Anne Niepold and plays today in various folk and dance projects such as Duo Anthracite, Les Kickeuses and La Miglouille. Jonathan De Neck is an accordionist and composer, trained at the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Luik. He is known for his warm, personal style and plays in projects such as Diab Quintet, Balbuzar and Zucht. In addition, he composes for theater and dance and teaches diatonic accordion and ensemble playing. Also take a look at their facebook page.
