ENT - Cirqus Hialøs

Welcome to a folk festival… but one that suddenly goes up in the air. Literally! Cirqus Hialøs mixes live music, dance, and contemporary circus into a wild, energetic experience. On stage are eight artists. Musicians play violin, double bass, and vocals, supplemented by electronic sounds. Four circus artists go into the air with trapeze, ropes, and even… their hair. Expect no polite folklore, but a powerful mix of old and new. The music is inspired by Scandinavian folk music, but sounds surprisingly fresh.
