Gohan

A white stray dog lives in a Thai coastal town on rice scraps and attention from passersby. Until a retired Japanese engineer takes the dog with him and gives him a name and a temporary home for the first time. The cute Gohan in turn gives the retired engineer a purpose in life again. When the man has to return to Japan, a new chapter in Gohan's life begins. In the shelter where he ends up, he meets a young refugee from Myanmar, who, just like Gohan, dreams of a home.
