We would like to invite you to a special afternoon 'Kasteelklanken', where you will be immersed in a unique combination of heritage, music and hospitality. We start with a visit through the arboretum of Kasteel Widooie. During this guided tour, you will discover a unique collection of trees and plants, with attention to special species, their history and the soothing beauty of this green domain. Afterwards, you will enjoy an atmospheric concert , performed by Kurt Bertels and Bert Koch, who will take you into the refined sounds of the Franco-Belgian late 19th and early 20th century. The programme includes works by, among others, Jules Demersseman, Joseph Jongen, César Franck and Vincent d’Indy, music that balances between elegance, stillness and expression. We conclude with a festive reception , where you can chat in all cosiness and enjoy a wide selection of snacks, accompanied by bubbles, fruit juice and water.
