SATURDAY CIRCUS / THEATER / TRAPEZE / CIRCOMOTRICITY CIRCOMOTRICITY From 3 to 4½ years: module 1: kindergarten child From 4½ to 6 years: module 2: child still in kindergarten Circomotricity is an approach that favors the child's place in the group. The discovery of their body through circus techniques being here a means and not an end in itself. Our learning mixes circus and psychomotricity via a playful and creative approach. The child evolves in a proposed space, which allows them to experiment with actions such as jumping, rolling, balancing, manipulating, transforming, playing. The child is sensitized to movement, to space; they are stimulated to free and spontaneous expression, to rhythm, to contact with others, while freely exploring their desires, their needs. The child discovers and develops their motor qualities. They learn the basic rules: safety, respect for their body, that of others, equipment, and space. The child begins to explore in workshops (balance, juggling, acrobatics) while developing their creativity. From 6 to 9 years: module 3 CIRCUS and/or THEATER primary school child Theater, creation of stories, characters. With the help of games and exercises, children will be introduced to improvisation and will have fun inventing stories, creating characters, playing short scenes directly from their imagination. Circus techniques: learning different circus techniques through a playful approach focused on movement and creativity. These courses are marked by the transition to another form of learning. They take the form of workshops. Children work together, without distinction of levels, and are encouraged to help each other and pass on their knowledge to each other. - floor acrobatics and acro-lifting - balance (cable, ball, stilts, rolla-bolla) - juggling (scarves, balls, rings, diabolos, plates, bolas, feathers) From 9 to 15 years: module 4 CIRCUS and/or THEATER Theater is focused on the oral and bodily expression of children with the help of sketches and small fun improvisations. Their natural imagination and creativity are used to play with the body, with gesture, and with voice, for the pleasure of learning, meeting, creating, but also to seek the way to say, to play, and to "stage" their aspirations and states of mind. Depending on the group, singing or dancing may also be called upon according to affinities, to complete the collective expression. Circus is organized in workshops, it always offers the possibility of discoveries but places more emphasis on the deepening of the techniques chosen by the student. - Juggling (scarves, balls, rings, diabolos, plates, clubs, bolas) - Floor acrobatics and acro-lifting - Balance (cable, ball, stilts, unicycle, rolla-bolla) From 10 years: module 5 TRAPEZE Work on aerial ease, apprehension of height, research and creativity work, learning different basic figures and work on strength as well as maintenance.
