A concert for the very little ones: Klankennest & Clara Spilliaert / ARK Hildegard
Sat, 19 Sept 2026 · 11:00
Kasteel van Gaasbeek, Gaasbeek
€15
In the context of the exhibition Soil Mate, we are bringing ARK Hildegard to the Knight's Hall of the castle in collaboration with Clara Spilliaert and Klankennest. A musical performance for the very little ones.
A whisper from the past
Shh… do you hear that? Those soft tones, like a breeze brushing past your ear… A magical musical cocoon, here four musicians – with voices, cello, medieval harp, percussion, and soft electronics – weave a wonderful web of sounds, inspired by the music of Hildegard von Bingen and contemporaries. In this intimate sound experience, the silence rocks like a soft blanket, modern sounds dance with ancient melodies, and the cello hums like the heartbeat of the earth.
