MOUSTA & DANNY With a cargo bike, crates of singles, and a couple of record players, we make music tangible. Choose the records yourself and we will string them together seamlessly. Mousta: It is sometimes claimed that he is the inventor of hot air, vacuum-packed in Tupperware boxes. However, he failed to take out a patent on this invention at the time, with the result that Ben Weyts now has this to his name. Danny: Once an avid collector of airline cutlery, but since corona, this market has collapsed. So now he collects the holes in the 45 RPM records. Volgens Mousta Danny can recite the alphabet in 48 languages blindfolded and from memory. The timeless connection between both aforementioned gentlemen: to this day, no one knows for sure who Mousta & Danny are. LOUCHELIFE – hidden among the green Something strange is happening on the square in front of Bibliotheek Permeke. Between the books and comics, a mobile planter suddenly pops up. Bamboo, green, innocent — or maybe not entirely. Anyone who looks closely notices that something is moving. Someone is hidden. And they have something to offer. Louchelife is a mobile, mysterious intervention that appears and disappears again. Contact arises from the green: a whisper, a proposal, perhaps a “wrong” book that changes hands. Or something unexpected, under the radar. On a square that is buzzing with stories — with a comic and book market , second-hand finds, and curious visitors — Louchelife adds one that you don't see coming right away. Passed by by chance? Or not?
