Summer opera 'La Bohème' by Giacomo Puccini

After the great success of previous years, we are participating again this year in the Summer Opera in Alden Biesen on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 3:00 PM . The opera ‘La Bohème’ by Giacomo Puccini belongs to the absolute masterpieces of the opera repertoire, making it one of the most beloved operas of all time… Puccini immerses his audience in the bustling Paris of the beginning of the 20th century, where four young artists fill their days with dreams, love, friendship, and poverty. Central to the story is the moving love affair between Rodolfo, a poet, and Mimì, a fragile seamstress. Their romance blossoms in tenderness and warmth, but is ultimately overshadowed by illness and loss. Puccini’s music elevates this story to an unparalleled emotional level: soft arias, compelling ensembles, and melodies that touch the heart directly. Iconic moments like “Che gelida manina” and “Quando me’n vo” continue to resonate for a long time. We have reserved 25 places for this wonderful spectacle.
