HYPERSENSES - Laika & Zefiro Torna

Inspired by "The Lady and the Unicorn", this multisensory performance explores how we can consciously experience our senses again and let them merge with each other in a world of overstimulation. ‘The Lady and the Unicorn’ is one of the most fascinating tapestry series from the 15th century. The artwork is considered an allegory of the five senses, but it includes six tapestries. The last tapestry depicts the mysterious sense of ‘the heart’. Based on this artwork, HYPERSENSES investigates the sensory experience of today. In a time of overstimulation, this multisensory music performance invites us to pause attentively at what we experience. Can tastes become audible, colors tangible, scents visible?
