Cemetery walk for 3rd kindergarten class and 1st_2nd primary school

Visiting a cemetery seems reserved for mourners or heritage enthusiasts. But there is also a lot for children to discover in a cemetery. A walk through the Diestseveld park cemetery is an ideal opportunity to reflect on life and death with children, discover various customs and rituals surrounding death, and let life questions emerge through this. The unique character of this park cemetery, with its abundant greenery on the one hand and the many specific zones (for children, for Muslims, for urns, pets, etc.) offer various starting points. This guided walk by us is free, takes about 2 hours, and is intended for the third year of kindergarten and the first grade of primary school. This walk aims to introduce children to discovering a cemetery in an accessible way and to create space for their stories and questions about death.Participation is free but registration is mandatory.
