Girl Group

Girl Group is a collective born in Liverpool, formed by five musicians united by the same desire: to rethink the girl group model from the inside. Between alternative pop, R&B influences, and DIY energy, the group develops a collaborative approach where each step of the creative process is carried by the artists themselves. Formed by Katya, Maria, Thea, Mia, and Lil, the project was born from a common desire to emancipate themselves from the traditional patterns of an industry still largely dominated by male gazes. Writing, production, artistic direction: everything is thought out collectively, in a creative space founded on autonomy, solidarity, and experimentation. Their first EP explores the realities of contemporary femininity, between social injunctions, friendship, anger, and emancipation. Through tracks that are at once incisive, ironic, and unifying, Girl Group transforms personal experiences and collective lived experience into engaged, bold, and resolutely current pop. A new voice, free and assertive, carried by the strength of the collective.
