Summer Concert Hellestraat

In July and August, you can once again enjoy a series of sparkling open-air concerts. We promise atmospheric musical performances in every residential core. Local bands alternated with an infectious lineup from outside the municipal borders. The summer concerts are offered to you by the Stekene municipal administration in collaboration with the Gemeentelijk Feestcomité Stekene and with the cooperation of the Feestkomitee Hellestraat. Admission is free. We welcome you from 8 PM. Fat Skank & The Wise Guys Skanken is a specific dance style that is mainly used with ska, reggae, and drum-'n-bass. You move your arms rhythmically back and forth and bend your knees to the beat of the music. At least, that's what we find on the internet. Eureka, our signature dance move has a name! However, tile dancing will not be part of this 10-piece band. Don't worry about the rest and ska for it. Louie Louie Ah, the Preekekeplein, also called the Woodstock of the Waasland. Or at least after the passage of Louie Louie. This colorful foursome brings the atmosphere of the sixties back to life. Louie Louie brings the songs as they are supposed to sound live: exciting, raw, euphoric, danceable, dangerous, and that with dedication and passion. Expect an energetic band that makes you lose control of yourself with golden classics from psychedelic pop music. Peace be with you.
