Between art and Christmas in the Bruges Ommeland

Today we start at the recently restored museum of Constant Permeke in Jabbeke. Once this modernist house was the family home and the studio of this artist, now you not only get to know everything about him and his expressionist works here at the Domein De Vier Winden, but you can also admire them at the place where they were made. After the afternoon, another unique monument is on the program, the Kasteel van Loppem. An imposing stately neo-Gothic castle in the middle of a romantic English garden. We discover who lived there, marvel at the beautiful interior and the impressive art collection and find out what important role this castle once played in our Belgian history. And oh yes, we would almost forget, during this period of the year the castle is also immersed in an enchanting Christmas atmosphere!
